Why do visitors need to allow location and notifications when checking in?

Find out why your visitors need to share their location during check in.

During a visitors first check in to your premises they are likely to be shown a notification requesting permission to share their location. It will look something similar to the below:

The reason for this is we need their permission to use their phones location to identify where they are at the point of check in. By sharing their location it makes their check in experience more seamless as we can make suggestions of businesses they are close to which should be your business if they are outside your premises.

By not sharing their location the following page will be displayed informing them that they will have to manually search for the business they are trying to check into.

At this stage they will just need to enter in your business name that you have input into the Company Name input field on the Billing Details page.
