An action is the next steps that your visitor will take after initially checking in. It is essentially the reason for your visitors visit to your business premises. An example of some actions could be:
Meeting
Appointment
Collection
Delivery
Within the Ready Ping system you must have at least one action but you can have create up to two actions should you require it.
How do I create my actions?
Ensure that you are logged in as an 'Company Admin' user.
Within the top navigation click on ADMIN.
From the left hand menu select Fields, Actions & Notifications.
Select either 1 or 2 in the How many actions do you require? option depending on how many actions you may require.
Depending on the number of actions you have opted for the either two or four input boxes will show. In the below example I have selected only to have one action.
Start by entering the name of the action in the Enter name of action field. Don't worry this will not be seen by the client, it will only be seen by your team and enable them to identify the options for the next steps for the visitor.
Then enter in the next steps / instructions for the visitor should your team select this action. Put this in the What notification do you want your visitor to receive when your team selects this action? input.
If you have a second action you just need to repeat the process outlined in points six and seven.
When you are happy click Update.
