A notification is a customised message you send to your visitor advising them on the next steps.
You visitor will receive a notification at these points during the check in process:
When they first check in
If you have to delay them
When you are ready for them e.g. for an appointment or maybe collecting medication
When you have completed the check in
Each notification is completely customisable on a per business or location basis.
How do I create my notifications?
Ensure that you are logged in as an 'Company Admin' user.
Within the top navigation click on ADMIN.
From the left hand menu select Fields, Actions & Notifications.
The first notification you can customise can be done so in the When your visitor checks in, what notification do you want them to receive? field.
Should you want the ability to potentially inform your visitors of a delay you can enable this feature by selecting Yes on the Do you require a custom delayed message? option field.
If you select Yes you will have the ability to customise the delay notification in the What delayed message do you want your visitors to receive? field.
Depending on whether you have enabled one or two actions you will have the What notification do you want your visitor to receive when your team selects this action? field to add the next step notification for your visitors depending on the action your team select.
Finally you can customise the completion message when the check in has been completed via the Completion Message field.
When you are happy click Update.
How do I customise notifications for a specific location
This is really easy to do, notifications can be customised by a per location basis.
Ensure that you are logged in as an 'Company Admin' user.
Within the top navigation click on ADMIN.
From the left hand menu select Locations.
Find the location that you would like to customise the notifications for and select Manage.
Find the option field labelled Will you require custom notifications? and select Yes.
Complete the fields accordingly with the appropriate notifications.
When you are happy click Update Location.
