It's really important to first check that the user you are logged in as has notifications enabled. You can do this by following this article 'How to enable my users to receive desktop notifications'.
If after enabling notifications against the user you are still experiencing issues then you will need to do the following.
Start by ensuring you are not in your web browsers 'Private Mode' or 'Incognito Mode', these modes by default do not allow notifications.
Desktop notifications will only work with up to date versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Mozilla Firefox. Follow the instructions below for your browser of choice.
Google Chrome
Navigate to https://readyping.io.
Click on the grey padlock top left.
Click on Site Settings.
Find the Notifications entry and change the option to Allow.
That's it, you will need to do this for every desktop you want to receive notifications on.
Mozilla Firefox
Navigate to https://readyping.io.
Click on the grey padlock top left.
Click on the right pointing arrow and click More Information.
Click on the Permissions tab.
Look for Send Notifications untick Use Default and select Allow.
That's it, you will need to do this for every desktop you want to receive notifications on.
Microsoft Edge
Navigate to https://readyping.io.
Click on the grey padlock top left.
Click on Site Permissions.
Look for Notifications and change option to Allow.
That's it, you will need to do this for every desktop you want to receive notifications on.
